Smart Lipo (The Lunchtime Procedure)

This is the revolutionary new introduction at our clinics which is the talk of the town! It is a clinically proven procedure that has also been approved by the US Food Drugs Administration. It has been designed to treat localised areas of fat such as double chins, bingo wings, love handles, thighs, bottoms, face and also male breasts. The areas that are to be treated are numbed using local anaesthetic.  The laser is then moved slowly across the treatment area, much like the movement of a small vacuum cleaner.  This heats the fat cells beneath the skin, which causes them to break down and thus released into the body’s lymphatic system and flushed away naturally.  Only a tiny incision is made.  This process requires only local anaesthetic and almost completely pain free, with few side effects. You will be required to wear a compression garment for up to two weeks after the procedure, depending on the procedure.  However, you will be able to treat several areas at one sitting. The treatment takes significantly less time to complete than conventional liposuction and removes fat permanently.  The process can also be repeated at a later date, unlike liposuction.  Patients can return to their normal activities almost immediately after the procedure, although it is recommended that strenuous sports, saunas and intense massages are avoided for up to 4 or 5 weeks after the treatment. The treatment is available for adults of any age who are in good health, with an active lifestyle, with pockets of fat to remove but otherwise are not overweight.  It is not recommended for those with diabetes, liver complications, blood disorders or kidney problems.
